While the basic mechanics of screenprinting are relatively simple, getting a good pull of the squeegee can be a frustrating task for a beginner. How much pressure to apply? How much ink to have in reserve? What kind of spacing between the screen and the substrate?
This introductory course focuses on the fine details of the printing process itself in order to ease students past these initial frustrations which can be discouraging. Bring a t-shirt!
