Elana K. Arnold & Amber J. Keyser will be in store this coming Friday in celebration of launching their new books: What Girls Are Made Of (Arnold) and Pointe, Claw (Keyser)! They will appear in conversation discussing and reading from their new books! Please join us to celebrate the release of their new works!

Elana K. Arnold writes books for and about children and teens. She holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing/Fiction from the University of California, Davis where she has taught Creative Writing and Adolescent Literature. A parent and educator living in Huntington Beach, CA, Elana is represented by Rubin Pfeffer of Rubin Pfeffer Content. She is a frequent speaker at schools, libraries, and writers’ conferences. Currently, Elana is the caretaker of seven pets, only two of which have fur.
Amber J. Keyser is the author of THE WAY BACK FROM BROKEN (Carolrhoda Lab, 2015), a finalist for the Oregon Book Award and a heart-wrenching novel of loss and survival, and THE V-WORD (Beyond Words/Simon Pulse, 2016), an anthology of personal essays by women about first-time sexual experiences, which was chosen as one of the New York Public Library’s Best Books for Teens 2016 and the Chicago Public Library’s Best Nonfiction for Teens 2016.
