Children's Book Reading: Andie & The Worries by Sara Moore

  • The Pop-Hop 5002 York Boulevard Los Angeles United States (map)

SILVER LINING STUFFIES is a line of children's books and companion stuffed animals helping kids manage anxiety, ADHD and depression. This event will feature a reading of "Andie & the Worries" — a story about an elephant with A LOT of worries — and how they manage them, with the help of friends and family. Kids will learn how to manage their worries, set and achieve positive goals, while developing supportive relationships with one another.

SARA MOORE is a local Creative Director who founded SILVER LINING STUFFIES in 2022 to help kids understand and manage mental health conditions - specifically anxiety, ADHD and depression - through a series of storybooks and companion stuffed animals. She was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at a young age and is forever grateful to her family for getting her the treatment she needed. She learned coping skills that she’s used throughout her life and hopes every child who needs them will use those same skills found in these books. Sara wants every child who has these same challenges to know that they are never alone. There exists a community of like-minded children and supportive adults in Silver Lining Stuffies.
