26 Stories About a Young Phil Jackson Book Release

  • The Pop-Hop 5002 York Boulevard Los Angeles United States (map)

26 Stories About a Young Phil Jackson is an innovative, filthy short story collection and audiobook with memories of an NBA semi-legend during the 60s, 70s, and 80s. In it, ex-lovers, teammates, rivals, and plumbers recount how Jackson stole their ideas and broke their hearts.

Author Molly Rosen Marriner, who wrote the collection in 2020 when she became infatuated with Jackson as the platonic ideal of a toxic heartbreaker, is debuting her latest publication in Jackson's home city with a reading at the Pop Hop Shop. She and LA-based actors from the audiobook will read a selection of stories from each decade and serve free pizza to guests who show up in period-appropriate clothing.
